I've read and heard it called many things. I like to refer to it as the "DOUBLE DOUBLE." I think some call it the "hitch." Either way, it adds more power, balance, longer glides and greater pole force to every skate stride during V2, V2A and no pole skate. What I'm I talking about? I'm talking about the idea of adding two flexions and two extensions during the glide phase of each ski.
